Lufthansa Technik Philippines’ key customer Philippine Airlines maintains a highly impressive stature as it attains a 91.6 percent average on-time departure rate, which overtook the ratings of 12 major carriers from the Association of Asia-Pacific Airlines (AAPA). The percentage figure of the country’s flag carrier was an evaluated performance for months of January to February 2010.

To distinguish itself from competition, AirAsia X is now embarking on an upgrade of its A330/A340 fleet. In these current reconfigurations, LTP has already installed 12 premium flatbed seats on three of AirAsia X’s A330s. Now, AirAsia X rightfully claims to be the only low-cost airline to introduce flatbed seats.

The frequent visits are part of the current campaign for the airline which involves C-checks and IL-checks that Lufthansa Technik Philippines (LTP) is performing for Vladivostok Avia’s six A320s and three A330s.
